Check Presentation to Ministry of Hope

On Sunday, August 18 during the church service, a check for $1000 was presented to Richard Walker, a member of St. Francis, 
who is the President of the Board of Directors of Ministry of Hope (http://ministryofhope.info/).
As members will recall, there was a special collection taken on the last three Sundays of July. This collection was made to go to the Ministry of Hope for the support of Atiah and her young son Asif. Atiah's husband was a pastor in Pakistan who was martyred earlier this year. Our offerings were to help support her new sewing business.
Following the check presentation, there was a congregational prayerful "Laying on of Hands" to support Atiah's recovery.
