Music

 2018 Music GroupThe singers and musicians lead the congregation in worship with hymns and songs of praise.  The music teams welcome all who are interest in serving through this ministry including:  singers, musicians, and sound technicians.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Altar Guild

This group prepares the church for Sunday worship by setting up for communion, decorating for special events, and taking care of the communion linens.  They work in teams; each teams serves a month at a time.

Lay Readers

 The lay readers assist in the Sunday service by reading the lessons and Prayers of the People.  They also help serve communion wine and bread.  Readers work on a rotating schedule through out the year

Greeters

These are smiling faces at the church door who welcome everyone to Sunday worship, answer questions, hand out bulletins, and create a friendly atmosphere for guests and members.  During the service they carry the communion elements to the altar and manage the collection plates.

Hospitality

Pot Luck Lunch

This group is responsible for setting up coffee, tea, and water for the social hour after the worship service.  On the first Sunday of every month, they provide the plates, napkins, and utensils for the cake that is provided by volunteers to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries for that month.  They maintain a signup sheets for volunteers who provide the celebratory cake and a second one for volunteers who provide snacks for the social hour on the third, fourth, and fifth Sundays.  On the second Sunday of the month, they set up for the potluck lunch. Their duties also include cleanup after the social hour and potluck as well as periodic inventories of supplies. 

 

Building and Grounds:

         This group lead by the Junior Warden maintains the building and the grounds, often completing the work themselves.  Their work includes mowing the lawn, raking leaves, scheduling workdays, and clearing the driveway and ramp as needed.
